Genuine B-3 Bomber Jacket
The sheepskin B-3 bomber jackets, replacing outerwear that did not provide enough warmth, were introduced in WWII to ensure that crewmen were kept warm while flying at high altitudes in unpressurized cabins. Jeff Clyman, founder and President of Cockpit USA, developed in the late 1980s the long lost leather finish once used in WWII and added side entry hand warmer pockets updating the Genuine B3 Bomber Jacket to contemporary standards.
